Joana Sampaio, with a path of more than 15 years in architecture  graduated in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon.  In 2013 she follows an international career and goes to China, to the city of Beijing where she lives and works for 7 years and it´s in the atelier RedHouse China under the direction of the architect Antonio Ochoa Picardo and the architect Romer Valera, who, in parallel with the architectural projects, starts working on the development of product design as well as on projects for artistic installations, allied to the architectural project.

 

In 2020, she returs to Portugal and creates LXXLstudio brand, establishing a link between architecture, design and art, creating a brand of ARTISTIC DESIGN PIECES and developing their integration in artistic installation projects aimed not only at the residential area but also at restaurants, hotels and commercial stores.

 

Between being an architect, designer or artist, she considers herself a creative person who unites diverse aesthetic influences and styles. she wants to create memorable artistic spaces.
